Over the past 6 months, Horizon Education has partnered with key Union High School Districts across the nation. We've seen tremendous results, highlighted in the case studies below.

Chaffey Joint Union High School District
The Chaffey Joint Union High School District is the 3rd largest union high school district in California, supporting over 23,000 students in grades 9-12.  Horizon Education has been a partner of CJUHSD since 2015 and this year CJUHSD expanded their after school SAT prep support programs to include school day College Prep Elective SAT Course integration.  This year CJUHSD is supporting 1,400 juniors in their quest to post-secondary education.  Horizon Education has trained over 70 teachers throughout the district and the data from the past three years is astounding!

Oxnard Union High School District
Oxnard Union High School District recently partnered with Horizon Education to conduct SAT prep classes to over 800 juniors.  In February, we trained 30+ OUHSD teachers, helped enroll 800+ students, and classes kicked off in late February with a 95+% attendance rating [on Saturday's].  There are very few companies who can pull off an implementation on such a large scale- but it went EXTREMELY well.  We look forward to sharing the results with the OUHSD board once CollegeBoard releases the spring 2020 SAT data metrics.

Yuma Union High School District
Through an RFP process, Yuma Union High School District awarded Horizon Education the largest statewide practice ACT assessment contract in 2019. Through our partnership with Illuminate Education, thousands of students took a series of ACT benchmark assessments and received immediate feedback. Roughly 400 juniors are involved with both after school and during the school day ACT support classes.  YUHSD worked diligently to obtain data from the Illuminate DnA platform to provide data and reporting to the Arizona State Board of Education. Victor Valley Union High School District
Adelanto High School [VVUHSD] had such great results with the College Prep Elective SAT prep integration in 2018/19, this year they provided support to all students in English III + College Prep Elective Course.  Over 400 juniors are being offered SAT benchmark assessments throughout the year, as well as curriculum in the classroom.  Results from the preliminary data show an average site improvement by over +102 points [on average] from just pre-test #1 to #2. Total score improvements are bound to increase by the time students take the actual exam this spring.
